The SADC plays an active role in formulating and implementing development strategies for the Coaticook region.
In a spirit of partnering with regional stakeholders, SADC employees and directors sit on various regional committees.
Regional strategic planning and Regional Round Table
In collaboration with its partners, in 2009 the Coaticook region SADC organized a socio-economic forum involving all of the local stakeholders. The regional vision and the Strategic development plan that emerged from this strategic planning exercise continues to guide the main development axes for our community.
Since then the SADC has been coordinating the Regional Round Table, which is responsible for monitoring about thirty projects under the Coaticook MRC’s 2009-2014 Regional Development Plan.
